Hate-He

I’ve had several mails and messages about the Hate-He kit.

Hate-He was something that just seemed to come together after playing around the properties of some flash products and realising these can be altered and it formed this nice little powerful, dark routine.

Its a voodoo routine based on ritual magick and curses.

You weave a story to your audience, you tell them how you (or a relative) on their travels to Haiti, found a faith healer who had many of these.

She or He explained that these are effigies, belonging to those who have been cursed by someone or something. It is told that you cannot ever remove a curse, but you can however bind it to an effigy such as these.

How you choose to weave and convey the rest of the story is up to you, but as you perform the ritual with your spectators,  building up to a dark reveal of where the spectator has chosen to stab and bind the curse to the doll, the curse is seen to be successful as the effigy begins emitting plumes of smoke and an eerie flame.

(In the interest of disclosure the doll is not self igniting. It is simple enough to drop a lighted match onto the doll as the reaction is not what the audience would expect from a match being dropped on. However some people have combined this with ignition props such as finger flashers etc to achieve a self igniting effect. The smoke can be adjusted to be small amounts, or plumes)

There are two methods of this version we produce, but both achieve the same end result. You knowing where a spectator has drawn the crosses for the doll to be stabbed.

The Deluxe kit includes a Brain Box for a more hands off approach.
